Fitter FIFO Program – Mental Health Awareness
- Fitter FIFO is a mental health education campaign and Initiative that aligns with our OHS policies, principles and standards.
- This program is designed to raise awareness of mental health around the workplace.
- Our aim is to reduce the stigma of mental health issues in FIFO workers by education and to empower people to become
personally responsible for their own health. - Ready Resources ensures all personnel have access to information and advice they need regarding mental health issues.
- We are aware that long hours of work completed away from home plus shift and sleep pattern changes can impact health and wellbeing. Ready Resources has engaged with Mental Health agencies and counsellors to provide our personnel with guidance and information updates.
- As an employee, it is important that you take all reasonable steps and care to ensure your own health and that your acts and omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others.
Fitter FIFO – Mental Health Policy
- We are committed to establishing, promoting and
maintaining the mental health and wellbeing of all staff
through workplace practices and programs such as
“Fitter FIFO” and encouraging staff to take responsibility for
their own wellbeing. - Ready Resources believes that the mental health and
wellbeing of our staff is key to organisational success and
sustainability.
Fitter FIFO – Mental Health Policy
- Building and maintaining a workplace environment and
culture that supports mental health and wellbeing and
prevents discrimination (including bullying and
harassment). - Increasing employee knowledge and awareness of mental
health and wellbeing issues and behaviours. - Reducing stigma around depression and anxiety in the
workplace and facilitating employees’ active participation in
a range of initiatives that support mental health and
wellbeing.

- Talk about your own problems
What NOT to do
